The Sense of Sound Choir is an award winning collection of superb singers, ready to perform during your wedding day, and ensure your big day has the wow factor.

The choir is a collective of exceptional individuals, who under the musical direction of Perri Alleyne-Hughes delivers soulful, rhythmic, organic, sensitive, experimental, alternative and mainstream songs. The members hail from various corners of the globe and the group is based in Liverpool. This acappella choir reached the grand final of Radio 3’s Choir of the Year competition in 2006 and is available to collaborate with artists to enhance their sound in the studio or live. The choir reached the last 6 choirs in BBC1’s Last Choir Standing.

Sense of Sound Choir are available through Soulful Entertainment for weddings in the UK. They can be chosen as part of one of our wedding packages, or as a solo booking.

The Sense of Sound Choir performing for a church wedding.

For church weddings the choir will be more than happy to lead whichever hymns you choose but you will be required to provide your own organist/accompanist.

For civil services we have an extensive list of love songs for you to select from as religious songs are not permitted. We will be more than delighted to discuss these option with you if you so wish.

All of the vocalists within the choir are incredible singers with a huge wealth of experience that is second to none. They bring professionalism, vibrancy and a celebratory spirit that will make your civil partnership or wedding an even more special and memorable occasion.

You can choose various combinations of singers for your wedding day dependent on the atmosphere you wish to create. These combinations range from a more intimate 8 piece vocal ensemble through to 20 voices or for the ultimate joyous uplifting sound that will raise the roof and definitely lift your spirits, you can have the full Sense of Sound Choir.
