CODE OF PRACTICE

PRODUCTS USED
All paints used are professional cosmetic face painting products such as Snazaroo or Wolfe Brothers . All products used are made with cosmetically approved ingredients, which are non-toxic and fully compliant with EU toy and cosmetic regulations.
The paints are water based so can easily be removed with soap and water (a wet flannel or a bath are ideal!).
Any glitters used are manufactured for face painting use.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS/HYGIENE
In the interests of hygiene, a child with a cold sore, rash or skin infection should not be painted.
If you are concerned as to any skin reaction, a skin test can be taken on the elbow at least one hour before the face is due to be painted. If there is any reaction at all, for obvious reasons, it would be
unwise to proceed with the face painting.
FOR AGES 3 AND ABOVE
Face painting is not recommended for children under 3 years old as it is very hard for them to be still for the sitting. If they are under 3 years old, it may be more suitable to do a small design on
their arm or hand as considered appropriate by their parent/guardian. We are unable to paint any child under the age of 2 in view of the above.
CLEAN EQUIPMENT
A fresh sponge is used for every child and water is replaced in a regular basis. We consider hygiene to be very important. If you child has a dirty face before painting, we have baby wipes to clean them before they can be painted.
All brushes, sponges and utensils are cleaned after and during every event to ensure high standards of hygiene at all times.
INSURANCE AND CRIMINAL REFERENCE CHECK
For your assurance, both liability insurance documentation and detailed criminal reference check papers are available for perusal as required.
EQUIPMENT
We supply our own table and chair and if required, we have our own gazebo for outside fun days and the like. Just tell us your needs.
